The West Bengal Bridge Association is pleased to announce the WBBA Swiss Teams Championship 2026, to be held in memory of the late Abhijit Chakraborty (Abhi), whose passion for bridge and unwavering support for the bridge community left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
The championship will be played over 4–5 July 2026 at:

Play will commence at 2:00 PM on Saturday, 4 July 2026, immediately after lunch, and will conclude on Sunday, 5 July 2026.
The event is limited to 30 teams, with an entry fee of ₹5,000 per team. In a fitting tribute to Abhi's enduring commitment to the game, the organizers have unanimously decided that 100% of the entry fee collection will be returned as prize money, creating a total prize pool of ₹1,50,000.
WBBA warmly invites members of the bridge fraternity to join us in celebrating the memory of Abhi Da through two days of spirited competition, camaraderie, and remembrance.

System Policy
The tournament will follow the WBF 2017 Laws of Duplicate Bridge as amended from time to time. The Applicable Supplemental Conditions of Contest shall be circulated before the start of the tournament.

Please note the following important points:
• The event will be open only to the active BFI Players.

- Registered WBBA members for 2026–27
- Compliance with BFI & WBBA rules
- Participant shouldn't have any registration due and playerid must be active in West Bengal Bridge Association player database.
