There was total 6 rounds of 16 boards each was played between USA and INDIA to determine the champion. India were ahead after first two rounds but the major setback came after they lost to USA by 53-7 IMP which pushed them 40 imp down after the first day of play. At the start of the second day, Team India has to cover that IMP with 48 boards to go, They started well. But at the End of the day the couldn't achive their target and lost by 258-165.
